Founded in 1973 by Timothy and Dagny Du Val, Plant Specialists is owned by Philip Roche and Grahame Hubbard. Plant Specialists is the only top-quality firm in New York that personally designs, implements and maintains all aspects and areas of landscape design, from flooring and furniture to irrigation and decorative lighting systems.
The team consists of 50 talented landscape architects, designers and horticulturists. We hear, in fact, that over the years some of Manhattan's most talented gardening experts have worked for Plant Specialists and later "graduated" to their own independent firms.
