Chris Coyne grew up in the peaceful, suburban neighborhoods of southeastern Pennsylvania. As a child, he spent his summers exploring and cultivating the verdant lands that make up the beautiful Delaware River Valley. After gaining a solid foundation in horticulture, he was drawn to New York City by the unique challenges of rooftop gardens. He now creates solutions for these gardens that are inspired by the structured gardens of England, as well as mid-century architecture and design. Chris’ ultimate goal is to create environmentally friendly gardens that are therapeutic for the people that experience them. Today, every landscape that Chris designs is planted with equal measures of artistic beauty and a genuine reverence for the natural environment.
