Will my perennials bloom twice in a season ?

The short answer for some perennials is yes - if you deadhead them. But it depends on which plants.

By removing spent flowers, you remove the hormones inside the seeds that stop them from re-blooming. Keep in mind rebloomers will not necessarily give you as big a show as the first bloom.

Not all plants respond to this method – it is because they produce determinate blooms on a single stem – meaning they have no additional floral buds.
